Urban Fusion: Contemporary and Industrial with Resin, Concrete, Iron, Oak, and Walnut
Description
Apartment
In the heart of the vibrant metropolis of Milan, there is an apartment that combines contemporary aesthetics with an industrial soul, creating a harmonious and personality-rich balance that aptly represents the complexity of Milan’s cultural landscape. The living area of the apartment is designed as an open space where the functions of the living room and kitchen blend with continuous solutions. The concrete resin floor and cement-tinted walls provide the perfect backdrop for the vivid colors and irregular shapes of the furnishings.
Bruno Spreafico’s furniture, made of solid wood and iron, seamlessly and naturally integrates into this context, contributing to defining the atmosphere of the space. The bookcase becomes a central element in the living room area, thanks to its modular design that alternates wooden and laminated shelves, and accommodates the TV. A second modular bookcase acts as a divider between the living room and the kitchen, where a table embodies the two stylistic lines of the apartment: the table’s iron legs evoke an industrial aesthetic, while the top, composed of irregularly shaped solid wood planks, reflects a preference for curved lines and the irregularity seen throughout the rest of the furnishings. The project is completed with a wall bookcase, featuring an iron plate and solid wood supports, and a sideboard made of solid wood and iron. Both elements emphasize the combination of raw material textures and modern, captivating lines.
