Cupboard in walnut and iron

Although iron forms the main structure of this sideboard, the focus is firmly on the beautiful solid wood. The intense colour of walnut in all its shades, the distinct grain, the irregular edges and the clearly-discernible knots are all imperfections that make every creation in wood unique. The sideboard is made of two walnut panels separated by an iron insert, which seems to flow like a black river between banks eroded by its incessant course.
